Are the Twilight Saga books better than the movies?

The Twilight movie series - UGH! What a disappointment, but the Twilight Saga books - WOW! How amazing. This fantastic 4 book series by the outstanding author, Stephanie Meyer, is about the unexpected romantic journey of a teenage girl named Isabella Swan, who moves to Forks to live with her dad, Charlie Swan. The unexpected relationship between Bella and the charming character Edward Cullen, who she meets at school, becomes more intense by the page. Just when everything seemed perfect, DANGER comes and Edward Cullen stops at nothing to keep his new lover, Bella, safe. This compelling story is written in a way you wouldn’t imagine, using strong and capturing words describing the different feelings and emotions of each character. I believe reading the Twilight Saga is the right path to take if you want complete and utter enjoyment, as well educational benefits.

I believe what makes a great successful book is to have capturing, strong, and emotive language. The famous Twilight Saga books are a perfect example of books that uses great, emotive language. The fantastic 4-book series is full of emotion, breathtaking, suspenseful, romantic and strongly written, as it takes you away on the unexpected journey of a normal city girl, Bella Swan and the charming vampire, Edward Cullen. Stephanie Meyer has used strong, capturing words to describe the different feelings and emotions each character is feeling. This is one of the aspects of the books that kept me so in a trance to what I was reading that I couldn’t part from them. The author uses strong words to describe the intense feelings between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, such as when they are about to kiss, touch or talk. Unfortunately, the movie didn’t portray these strong emotive feelings, and as they were important to the story, this was disappointing. These books bring you close to each character, as you find out more about their stories, whereas in the movie series this isn’t really expressed, again disappointing. If you’re a person who enjoys reading successful books that have strong emotive language, than I encourage you to read the Twilight Saga books, rather than watch a disappointing movie series.

The great thing about books is how they allow you to use your imagination and view the story any way you want.  Movies on the other hand are a portrayal of one person’s thoughts and as viewers, we are expected to follow suit. The Twilight Saga books are creative and very imaginative providing a great literary experience. Stephanie Meyer has written the character Bella Swan as a stubborn, self-confident, independent girl.  However, in the movie the experts believe that Bells is really fragile and unhappy throughout the movie series. This contradiction can leave the viewer disappointed with the way the character Bella Swan was played throughout the movie series, as it changed the way readers would have imagined the character. Movies are often disappointing in how they change great creative chapters and scenes of the book as well skip through important parts of the story. Research has shown that the public do agree with how the Twilight movie series skipped through important parts of the book, as well as going through the story quickly and therefore creating confusion.  Rather than be disappointed, just read the successful Twilight Saga books!

There are many benefits from reading books, and they are all very important in life, especially for students. Books are clear, informative and detailed, whereas movies are not so much, and they can be confusing and go through the story too quickly. Reading books is fantastic for educational purposes, as they can guide students during school life. Students are encouraged to read books, as they help with their grammar and enable them to improve on their writing skills. They also can improve their creativity and imagination for writing, which are important tools for the life ahead of them. The great thing about books is how you can get more joy out of reading them, as you can read them over a long period of time, which is not possible with movies. I believe reading the Twilight Saga books is a much better alternative, as the movies don’t show the emotions and feelings the characters are experiencing and often show random acts. An example of this disappointment in the movie is when Edward Cullen randomly encourages Bella Swan to visit his parents at his house.  It is as if this scene is just an “add on” rather than being part of the story. The public also agrees with this ridiculous scene from the movie and found this quite disappointing. I strongly recommend the Twilight Saga books to anyone who wants to read a successful 4 book series that will benefit your educational life.

Books are amazing in every way. There are many reasons why I believe books are better than movies and in particular, the Twilight Saga books take you on an epic, captivating journey. What more could you possibly ask for when a book gives you education, better understanding and time to really enjoy what you’re reading by being totally entranced? The Twilight book series do just this.  This should surely encourage you to read!! The famous books are truly successful and are guaranteed not to disappoint, which unfortunately I believe the movie series did. This book series is definitely worth reading with its strong, capturing vocabulary and its creative imagination that made me want to keep reading. If you would like to see this story visually, go ahead and watch the movie, but I guarantee you will be disappointed and you will then believe me in saying, that the Twilight Saga books are better than the Twilight movie series.
